The Certificate III Administration Trainee supports the provision of headspace daily reception services and is generally the first point of contact with the public. As such it is essential that they are pleasant, courteous, highly professional and able to interact with a wide and diverse consumer group.
As one of the first contact points for young people accessing the RQ headspace centre, the Administration Trainee will need to build a positive rapport with a wide range of young people, as well as their family and friends, this includes actively working toward engagement with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander young people, their families and wider community networks.
The Administration Trainee is supported via hands on training and mentorship to work towards providing professional and confidential administrative services to support effective service delivery and day-to-day functioning. The incumbent will play a key role in ensuring the service is perceived by young people as accessible, youth friendly, welcoming and culturally aware environment.
This position will require enrolment & engagement in a relevant certified course as part of the traineeship requirements.
